In November 1991, Jim Rogers (Investment Biker) and his girlfriend Tabitha Estabrook returned from a 2-year Around-the-World journey, riding 57,022 miles and setting a world record for "Longest Motorcycle Ride by a Couple".

Twelve years later, in August of 2003, we returned from our 4-year trip -- an odyssey over 6 continents and through 50 countries, while riding a whopping 101,322 miles -- nearly doubling the previous record.
Why 2 bikes?
We can carry more gear, and spread the load more effectively. We both enjoy riding, and prefer to not be squeezed onto one bike. Having 2 bikes also helps if we have an issue with one bike, we can use the other to get help. The disadvantage is we pay double for fuel, wear-and-tear parts, and shipping.

En XL, j'ai des ailes (moteur noir, le plus beau),
En XRV, j'équilibre en V (enfin, j'essaye)
